Matt LeMond, Jake Reuter and others film a skate commercial |
On Monday, August 17th, Matt and a cast of talented skaters filmed a commercial for The Cartoon Network at the Glendale Skatepark. The filming for this commercial was unique, interesting and a bit mysterious. The skaters were assigned an obstacle in the park and told to do whatever trick they wanted. Jake Reuter carved the snake run and square bowl and blasted a rocknroll slide around the corner coping! Matt surprised everyone and busted a nice kickflip f/s boardslide on the rail(he had been messing around all day doing other stuff, but when his turn came he just knocked it out). We unfortunately weren't able to get those shots because they did them first try and moved on. No one on the set seemed to know what the spot was about except that it was a commercial for The Cartoon Network. I can't wait to see the final product, it should be very good.
